Forex Prop Firm Costs: Keep the Pair and Account Currency Explicit
A search for a Forex prop firm starts with the currency pair you need, the form of the instrument and the account currency. A dollar account label alone does not establish access to a particular pair. This worksheet keeps instrument availability separate from the arithmetic of a fictional result.

Start with the instrument requirement
Write the exact pair, contract type, quantity convention and desired platform in the first row. Obtain the current provider instrument specification before carrying a familiar pip value into a new account. An index, metal or crypto product should not be relabelled Forex to make a comparison appear complete.
The HashHedge overview reviewed on 23 October 2026 describes Crypto + TradFi and US Stocks routes. It does not establish an available Forex evaluation for this worksheet. The affiliate link therefore offers programme information, not a promise to supply the currency-pair product in your search.
Calculate in the quote currency first
In a fictional linear EUR/USD exercise, 10,000 EUR is bought at 1.0800 USD per EUR and sold at 1.0810. The price difference multiplied by the supplied quantity is 10 USD. If the complete supplied round-trip cost is 4 USD, the net result is 6 USD.
Now suppose a separate Singapore journal exercise uses an explicitly supplied conversion of 1.35 SGD per USD. The 6 USD becomes 8.10 SGD. That is a reporting valuation, not an actual SGD bank receipt or a current exchange rate. A fee charged in another asset requires its own conversion record.
| Step | Value | Unit or scope |
|---|---|---|
| Entry quantity | 10,000 | EUR in this linear exercise |
| Price movement | 0.0010 | USD per EUR |
| Gross less costs | 10 − 4 = 6 | USD |
| Optional reporting value | 6 × 1.35 = 8.10 | SGD; supplied example rate |
Bring the result back to the account
Keep the net trade, account equity observation and evaluation rule as different fields. The 6 USD calculation cannot establish the rest of an account, a daily reset or a stage pass. This site’s existing cross-rate resource can help keep currency units and observation times consistent before an account comparison.
Retain missing quantities or costs as unknown. After the arithmetic is consistent, compare only products that actually meet the original market requirement. A different product can be reviewed independently; it should not silently replace the requested one.
